Seems like I am light years away
But there you are right in next to me
I’m listening but I can’t hear you
Sleeping with my eyes wide open

I have a fear of the unknown
So strange how things became this way

Seems I just go through the motions
But there you are right next to me
Writing on the wall that I can’t read
I create my own prison cell

I used to be my only friend
Until life got away from me
Used to be my only downfall
Was to have lost myself in you

Have I crossed that line
The point of no return
Can I go anywhere I want to go

So easy to forget where you came from
So easy to forget who you are
