Netflix is one of the top two on-line dvd rental companies around.

What is Netflix-It is on on-line DVD rental company. You have the convenience of signing up online and they will send you your DVDs directly to your house. When you sign up for Netflix, they will give you a fourteen day free trial. After the trial, you have four choices of which plan you will choose.

Plan one is $9.99 per month-you get one DVD at a time with no limit of how many dvd's you rent per month

Plan two is $11.99 per month-you get one DVD at a time with a limit of four per month- a plan for those who do not rent many movies.

Plan three is $14.99 per month-you get two DVDs at a time with no limit on how many dvd's you rent per month.

Plan four is $17.99 per month-you get three DVDs at a time with no limit on how many DVDs you rent per month.

These are the plan choices at Netflix. A plan for everyone. I choose the $17.99 plan because I am a movie freak. One other thing about who Netflix is. I believe they have been doing on-line dvd rentals longer than any of the other big companies out there. They really know what they are doing.   The new plans are 9.99 for one dvd at a time and you can watch movies instantly on your television or your pc.  A great idea, especially if your children want to watch some children's movies.

How Netflix works-First you sign up for Netflix using your credit card on their secure site. You give them your name and your address, so they know where to send your movies. Than you begin picking out the movies you want Netflix to send you. They have the movies listed in their individual categories. You click on the category and they show you the available movies. You are than given the option on whether you want to rent the movie. You just click on the movie you want and it is added to your queue. You organize your queue on how you want Netflix to send you your movies. Netflix will send you your movies in the order you want them sent to you. It is very convenient and easy. Netflix has distribution places in most major cities, so you get your movies usually the day after you order them. When you receive the movies, they come with a prepaid envelope, so you can send them back. Once Netflix receives a movie back from you, they immediately send you another one. I have watched twenty new release movies in a month from Netflix because their service is so easy and fast.

Possible disadvantages-At Netflix there are possible quirks or disadvantages with their service.
