Have you ever called to death?
A silent wail within your soul
A comparison to life's unfairness
A curse not felt by all
I was never meant to be here
I break time and time again
I was forgotten by love
Broken by all men
The night comes to comfort me
Sleep soothes me through my dreams
The light forces me to live
I refuse to hear its screams
Sometimes I feel a flicker
Sometimes I try to breathe the air
I pick up all my pieces
Even full am still bare
Some things were meant to be broken
Left to cry out to the night
Left to loathe the suns taunting rays
Then shatter, falling while at flight
