Who am I with you?

I feel your warmth encircle me
without it life is bare
Somehow  my sun shines through you now
Somehow I wonder if you know...or care

Could it be the real me that has you immersed
even though my being is forgotten
Somehow you pieced my brokenness into a whole
Somehow you failed and I'm still rotten

I feel your eyes look through my childhood
not seeing the walls and darkness I had constricted
Somehow your smile hides the truths that lies around
Somehow you chose a past for me; one never inflicted

I see you laugh when you hear my voice
but thunder refuses to let me hear the joy on your face
Somehow you loving only me seems harsh
Somehow the wind form years to come sees you turning in a haste

I search within your eyes and I find a mystery
am I too good or not good enough
Somehow I resent the day your soul will tell all
Somehow you are my destroyer; my one true love
