Going for fishing trip can be an interesting way to spend your weekend or holiday. Most people will come back in the afternoon, night or even in the morning with a lot of fishes that they catched during their fishing trip.Normally, they will clean their fishing equipment after their trip. When you clean your equipment, don't forget to clean your fishing reels as well. Because some people mostly forget to do that. dirfty fishing reels can lead to a shot life span. Some people maybe don't want to clean their fishing reels because they think it's difficult to clean it. They are totally wrong. Cleaning the fishing reels can be so easy and simple. Even when you only have basic tools, you still can clean the fishing reels in a short time.

1. Try to make or get some space to do your cleaning. You can use a big table, bench or bar table area to clean the fishing reels. It does not matter. Just try to find the easiest one that you can get there.
2. You can try to open the reels from its rod and start to clean it. Some times you need to wipe out sand, dust and other things which can be inside the the things.
2. Warm and soap water. To rinse fishing reels off, it's better to use warm and soap water. You don't need to use the water which is coming from garden hose. It will not be the best way to clean the reels. Why? Because the pressure of the water that come from garden hose will destroy your fishing reels.
3. Blow dryer can be a good tool to dry off the reels. After you rinse the reels and clean it, you can try to dry off the reels by using blow dryer. If you have used compressed air, you can also use it to dry off the reels.
4. The best oil to put on the reels after washing is the a high quality reel oil and grease. You don't need a lot of oils for this, a tiny oil is more than enough to keep your fishing reels work well.
5. If you start the cleaning work with opening the reels from its rod, don't forget to put it back in a proper way.
