                                                                                  Improving  Human Consumption of World Water

The problem of providing a safe water source for the people of the world is a very difficult job.  Currently 4.500 people die each day from the effects of consuming the only water available in their area.  Consuming unsafe water promotes the incidence of cancer and many other diseases prevalent in both humans and animals. 

To attack this problem of unsafe water and how we provide clean, safe water for the worlds population we must divide the water usage, location, and technology up into sections that reduce the problem to smaller areas.

First of all, we must understand there are two main problems with water  we must understand.  One problem is the present of dirt and other contaminants in the water.  Most of these particles are not the creators of disease, but should not be a part of the water you drink.
The other major problem is disease in the water.  Pathogens and items in the water that can cause disease need to be eliminated down to a safe level.  You can not create water that is 100% pure,  in most areas of the world, but reducing the threat to an acceptable level would help.

The next step in our process of creating safe water for the world, is to categorize the areas of need.  This process will assign the proper equipment for the people of a given area.  The areas of the world should be surveyed as to population, availability of water in a given area, and the quality of the water available to the local population.  A system of categorizing population, need and water quality would need to be put together.  Each country would be responsible for  a ground level survey to provide the information for the survey.

The next step would be to survey the equipment available in the world for producing potable water.  There are many units manufacturing equipment to purify water ranging in use from backpackers to entire communities.   The equipment
