You are in command of the single force that can stem the tides of evil. The only thing preventing world destruction is you. No, it's not the marines. It is one of the countless MMORPGs or Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games that can be found with the click of a mouse at www.onrpg.com. In my opinion, it is one of the best game sites I have ever found. It fit's the style of a poor college gamer quite well.
When I first visited the site, an advertisement bar on the side caught my attention, but the very next thing that piqued my interest was the side bar that said, "Free Games". Since I'm just a poor college student, that was the first part of the site that I visited. It has every kind of free MMORPG that exists and is quite handy when you're searching for something fun but free.
Once you choose a category, a list is compiled of all the games that fit that description. It alphabetically sorts the games and provides the genre, developer, status, date of creation, and rating of the game. I scroll down the list and click on my favorite game. FlyFF or Fly For Fun is as good as possible for a free game. The link leads me to another page of the site that provides reviews, screenshots, news, ratings, and links for the game. I click on forum and it whisks me away to a large community. I scroll down until I come to a sub forum called FlyFF. As soon as I click on it, I'm catapulted head-first into a plethora of everything I could ever possibly want to know about FlyFF. There are guides for new players, common tech problems and their solutions, and just general chat threads.
After basking in all the information that the site provides for my game, I decide to head back to the main page to see what else is there. I see an ad for a game that won the grand award for game of the year. There are news clips for upcoming games on the cutting edge of this industry's skills. As I scroll down, I come across another side bar. The only difference is that this one contains links to all of the most played and most highly rated MMORPGs.
Now there's something interesting. In all the excitement of visiting the site, I missed a nifty tool. There's a drop down list at the top of the site that contains every MMORPG of significance. Over 450 games are in that list, and with the touch of a button you can go straight to that games information page without wading through the categories and forums.
I realize that this site is the best only in my opinion, so I also visited two other sites.
