My heart
Meshed lips, closed eyes, and fingers that tangle
I’ve missed you too much, and now you’ve come home
Our usual greeting stays nonetheless new
When the flit in my chest proves our love’s been resewn
Foolish disputes, our silly missteps
I hope you won’t ebb with their tide
You can blame it on lunacy and curse at the moon
But please be here still by my side
I promise to hold you as high as the sun
If you’ll keep me through rasping rude weather
Just know that your light yields deep peace in my heart
The gravity of this keeps me tethered ~ I love you

Poetry: Please remember
Let us not forget the day,
when hope, dreams and lives were torn away.
Where bravery overcame fear,
to the ones we love
Please remember that I love you
the old man said to his wife
As he watched her slowly fade
and take her exit from this
Please, please remember,
How much I love you...
When you feel your world has ended,
And almost all hope is gone...
You think
Remember
Remember when we met,
And everything was so new?
I knew at first glace,
That I loved you.
I
A Thousand Leaves.
A thousand leaves blew through the town
The brass band played its rousing sound
