I let my pores broaden and let all reach inside
To poke at, to whistle at all inside
A variety if things inside me reside
Whether I want to or not, I shall not hide
Forward emotions rush
And furthermore, I am crushed
By the barrage of things I seem to see
A mix of baggage piled onto me
Trudging, I think not more can hurt me now
Bleeding, I think not more can mar me now
Thinking, what else can I say to make this disappear
Knowing, that I am born with it and nothing can dissipate what is already here
So carefully peel away the mask
And expose vivid colors most cannot endure
I sigh and know no one can figure a cure
This piece of creation is simply put, impure
Closed eyes, no dream can break my darkness
I hear myself laugh, but I can't really feel why this is so
No conciliatory thoughts to determine exactly what is to come
A fact not even the best can comprehend
So I open up, lie there and wait
Wait until I can hear the lock from that gate
Slowly open with the sun burning close behind
I'm not sure if I'll make it there, but I will it strong with my mind
Feeling, I continue my trek to the unpredictable
Seeing, I watch events blindingly unfold
Hopeful, I wonder if this is what I've become
Inspired, I look toward the heavens and strive to be who I need to become

Grand egos march to one parade.

One leap of faith could save your soul forever.
One smile could help save a life.

The earth was made
4.5 billion years ago,
or a mere seven days,
and we have yet
to come to its aid.
Hunger runs ramped,
In the world, not of the world,
I see girls made up and curled.
They strut around in their skimpy skirts,
And bounce around

In this moment
Somewhere in this world
A child suffers
In this moment
Somewhere in this world
A woman is abused
