In like a Lion, Out like a Lamb
Roar! you barbarous lion of March,
Rage! with all your might.
Do not give into spring too soon,
You must put up a fight!
Bring powdery snow and crystal ice,
To swirl and fiercely blow.
And sculpt a landscape pure and white,
With a freshly fallen glow.
And when your passion has all been spent,
And calmness reigns once more.
Give in with grace and bow your head,
Let spring knock at the door.

As March winds blew her away,

Sweeping winter clouds out
In like a lion, out like a lamb
In need of renewal
That's what I am
Ready to shake off
The winter cold
Ready to inhale
Spring
