Two men bust through the warehouse door, one helping the other walk, and two other men follow. The last man shuts and locks the door as the one checks the other man's gun shot wound.
"Jesus Christ that was intense," the one says pulling his gun out and laying it on a large wooden table in the middle of the room. He checks his friend's leg as he sits on one of the few big boxes that litter the room. "Damnit, Cal.. Mickey's leg's busted up," he says looking toward the man checking out the windows.
"What the hell can I do," Cal says stepping off the small crate and walking toward them. The other man has sat at the table the entire time staring out into space, then back at a ring with blood on it. "Tom? Tom.." he says to the man, "We need a plan brother. I know you're hurting right now but.."
"Hurting?" he says looking at the diamond wedding ring slightly snickering and shaking his head. "Hurting is the bullet in Mickey's leg. Hurting is when a child falls a scrapes its knee," he says trembling. Slowly, he raises his face to Cal with tears in his eyes. "I'm at a level of pain and hate I've never been."
"What are we gonna do Tommy," the other man says walking over putting his hand on his shoulder.
"What I'm going to do now Max is tell you three something I swore to never tell, after I do that I don't give a damn what you do," he says as if his soul had left him. Cal gets a few boxes as seats and Max helps Mickey over to the table. "Three years ago when we met, she was working in a strip club up North called Last Stop. At first it was just sex, you know, I'd come in like I am," he says remembering and smiling, "and she'd be there getting ready for a number she'd already done. She'd try to get by me and I'd pin her against the wall. Then Mr. Stiletto would come out and I'd say, 'Bi*ch, do what I say and you'll live,' but it was just joking. Besides, she got off on the rough parts."
"She was a beautiful girl," Max says pouring glasses full of whiskey.
"Russian, wasn't she," Cal says and all the men toast.
"Yeah," he says remembering her accent. "Well one night, I couldn't make it up there. They ended up cutting her early and as she went out to the car I got her three guys grabbed her and took her for a ride in their van." They can't believe what they're hearing.
"She never said anything about it," Cal says in disbelief.
"What those bastards did to her left her in the hospital for three days and nights. I felt the pain then, almost
