Elijah’s cup filled yet untouched
The covenant of God due love and life
Four for pleasure
Five for naught
Elijah’s cup of fair result
Why Elijah, the nectar waits
For lips to press against its cup

Deliver us from the bondage servitude
Redeem us to a people free
That Exodus will be our chariot
Bring us to the land promised
For though the cup is cast away
The wine is sweet and full bodes well
Our future for a land of peace
