Poetry: Suicidal thoughts

by Chuck Maddock

Created on: March 06, 2010   Last Updated: September 30, 2010

Must I die and not know why

Does life apply, only when we try

Can I live without meaning

Just to go on breathing

The thoughts I keep

Bring me to weep

They, so dire, I have no desire

My only out is to expire

To be and exist

With no reason to persist

Has left me tired and worn

I wish to hear "Gabriel's"  horn

I have lost all hope

No longer can I cope

There is no one to weep

As I go to the big sleep

Suicide, my friend

Bring on my end
