Sam Steele days are still celebrated in Cranbrook each year during the third week of June in honor of the legendary Superintendent Sam Steele. During Sam Steele days you can find local residents dressed in attire from the late 1800's, pancake breakfasts, a Sweetheart festival, parade, dancing, and a whole host of other events to entertain you.
