At what point are black Americans freed from the bigotry that America has held for this particular race? Since black politicians generally have black skin color they will be subjected to the stigma America has placed on black people. It matters not that black Americans are trying to improve the life of Americans, he or she is simply hated out of the ignorance of other people whose selfishness drives there every thought.
The president of the United States for the first time in America's history a black man has entered into the highest position of the nation only to be called unceremoniously a liar and if you'll view this web site http://blogs.sparenot.com/index.php/obama/, you will see that the president of the most powerful country on the planet is being referred to as the antichrist.
Clearly people have a right to their views but we do not normally address people in a position of power as if we are talking to someone in a back alley. The vilifying of black people even if they hold honorable positions or ordinary citizens is a historical practice America's long-standing with for racial ignorance permeates truth and justice.
America today has not freed itself from the injustice it has inflicted upon innocent black people. I have no doubt that politicians, specifically black politicians, are subjected to the same old racial attitudes that were formulated when black people were stolen from Africa.
There have been a number of defining moments that signifies racial views are still split with respect to race. One only needs to think of O.J. Simpson or consider the beating of Rodney King and of course there were the L.A. riots which let us know how deep these feelings go.
Granted some black politicians may need to be attacked when they are in violation of the law but to focus primarily on black politicians is the same as profiling black people. Guilty until proven innocent is contrary to what the Constitution says the rights of the people are.
Racism in America is not a bygone era, it clearly exist today and I have no doubt it will continue until the last bigot has died and have not left behind the cancerous hate that they have for people outside their race.
Ironically I see this problem as solvable, it simply requires men and women to act more mature than they have been. This however I believe will never be achieved because the bigot is satisfied with being selfish and irresponsible. I believe a time will come when black politicians and black people will be free of racial ignorance but it won't be any time soon.
