Hagar is Van Halen.  Roth, a mere image of the band's beginning.  Sammy Hagar, a best lead singer to a band which road had little meaning.  When many claim Roth had the charisma and showmanship.  It seems where ever you turn these days everyone feels compelled to turn to the original members of each band.  Bands that somewhere had to make an adjustment in their past for future brightness.  Van Halen was a true icon of the '80s with a so called spectacular flamboyant lead singer named David Lee Roth.  Since Roth's departure, an audition was held to bring in a singer who not only had to erase the shadow that left a mark as coaster on Van singer spot.  When Sammy Hagar was given the opportunity to sing, he never failed to please an audience that at first and for many years has not supported in the way a rock star is to be treated.  His nature in music was shared among a band with a promising bright future.  Yet, a singer without charisma could shatter the bands hopes.

Hagar never failed and by far always performed the best he could ever grow up to be Van Halen's singer.  He shared his traits of a true artist in which would give the band more singles than they ever had.  In no sense, did Roth's contribution to the band had led them to more singles as of when Hagar came around.  Hagar had even proved to be a solo artist before Van Halen with hits of his own.  As of Roth's disappointing so called "showmanship" could only dwell in the path of remakes which didn't amount to much.  Hagar stands tall in the new path that made him the one lead singer the band truly deserved.  Now that Hagar is gone, it seems Roth has big shoes to fill.  He's so called, "Flamboyant showmanship" is far from covering all that Hagar contributed to the band.  His voice isn't really the best after many years of no more and a gigolo doesn't rock much of Eddie Van Halen's boat.  Roth isn't able to cover the notes as well as Hagar did for all the hits that were made to his condition of singing.  Even after Hagar's departure of Van Halen, he is still growing strong with more quality as now with new band, "Chicken Foot."
