God has not abandoned America, but America is turning her back on Him.  Do you remember the story of the person who saw two sets of footprints in the sand until there was trouble.  Then one set of footprints disappeared.   The person chastised Christ, asking why He left at the worst of times.  Jesus replied, "When there was only one set of footprints, I carried you."  Like that person, we do not check to see whose footprints are in the sand.  We turn on Jesus in a rage, blaming Him, when He is yearning to carry us to safety.

God would love to lift us up and out of our troubles, but instead of giving him the chance, we let the minority, who do not believe, take God out of our lives.  We let them demand God be trampled underfoot in a land built on the right to religious choice.  While Christians may talk to non-Christians about Christ, they do not demand those people become religious.  The non-Christian has no problem demanding that Christians give up their beliefs.

There is no more CHRISTmas.  We now have winter holiday.  Easter, one of our holiest of days - the day Christ died on the cross to save us - is more about stuffed rabbits, candy and egg hunts.  Easter break is just another spring holiday because we do not want to hurt the feelings of anyone who does not know our God by demanding it remain a religious time.

A gun maker, who had the audacity to put a scripture on the weapons he made, was threatened with losing enormous government contracts unless he immediately stopped making those guns.  The reason?  They appalled the ENEMY, the same ENEMY who beheads, drags our dead through the streets, tortures without conscience our soldiers or THEIR own people who might help our men and women.  We did NOT want to hurt enemies feelings by putting scriptures on the guns that might be fired at them.  How many have heard our enemies say, we will stop praising Allah as we destroy you and our own people because we do not want to hurt your feelings?

The country is under fire to remove the awful word 'God' from our currency, our federal, state, city and town buildings.  Prayer can no longer be said in school, although no one who objects is forced to pray.  A child gets scolded for beating up another child, but beware the child who reads her Bible at recess.  She is evil incarnate and must be tossed out of school as quickly as humanly possible.  She must not be allowed to taint other children by silently reading God's word.

Those, who, in the name of God, would save fetuses from abortion, are scorned and hated, while the abortionists are praised for their courage.  What courage does it take to murder a child who has never had a chance to breathe, to live, to play, to laugh?  What courage does it take when our own President thinks a full-term child, who is aborted by sucking its brains out and SURVIVES the process, should be left to die in the trash or in a room on dirty laundry, without even a nurse's arms to hold it?

God resides in none of the things being perpertrated on and by the American people today.  He's missing not because He's turned His back on America, but because America has put His Son back on the cross, ready to crucify Him again.  They are hoping His burial will be complete and He will not escape this time. 

Meanwhile, Satan laughs with glee at our stupidity as we run blindly into a living Hell!
