Poetry: Lost love

by Billy Helms

Created on: March 05, 2010

It seems as though he shall never know why. Why she left him why she made him cry,

He sits blankly staring at pictures of old, continuously absorbing her cruel blows.

He fought hard to keep the love they shared, Its hard to believe she never really cared.

Its hard to teach an old dog new tricks? Tis true for he frolics in the rain of bricks.

Sticks and stones don't break his bones, love form her heart hath made him strong.

Not ever can one make hm weak of mind, except for his angel how so divine.

Lost without her he can not folow, his love where she went the deathly hallows.

Or should I say hollow like her heart became? The former are his calls every night of her name.

He wants not money nor power nor fame but one more moment to spend with her again.
