If it were not for mankind, there would be no concept of an omniscient being. We, as humans, who crave having someone - “out there” to lead us and protect us and blame for all the ills and successes of the world population, have created myths and legends and stories about a wonderful all powerful being who lives outside in the heavens and ether lands and rules over all things in every way – that includes the good/bad/right/wrong scenarios of our lives.
Where is the kingdom of god? It is within us, and we had better start digging into the core of our being, and start viewing it as the truth…we have the power to love and overcome adversity with gentleness and intelligence and root out selfish motives and decline to use the ladder-method, stomping on others to get where we think we should be. Helping another become who they can be has a far greater reward system attached to it. There is money and power and fame and love and gratitude aplenty because it is human nature to show gratefulness to those who have helped you, and thus something inside creates a need to help others, it is called reciprocation.
Simply, not true! We, as sentient beings, have a great capacity to create stories and poems and music, and we have for millennia and it is usually based on an innovative technique called imagination.
We have seen things and deified them. We have seen things and demonized them. We have seen things and told magnificent tales about them because we did not understand their function or purpose, their origin or relative position to us on our life’s course. Sometimes it is as easy as seeing an event from a different physical perspective.
We have seen the sun in all its powerful fury and watched it through the day and seen how it moves across the sky, and then it dips down over the horizon and we say it has left us, we are alone; but in another cycle, it dawns, it comes back to us and we see it as a glorious protector who brings us warmth and we see plants grow while it shines and we instill in this natural phenomenon the aspect of a god. This god is all powerful, we name it, we give it human characteristics also, we begin to tell stories that become myths and legends about what the god of the sun can do and how “he” is like a father protecting us and helping us grow and prosper. The stories become more like history than myth and the people elaborate on the myths and they become more real until
