A legion of plastic smiles and glass eyes
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, Hell hath no punishment like a heart broken
Lose the inhibitions you hold so dear and embrace the smell of cigarette smoke
Close your eyes and walk around with your plastic smile
The only words that can hurt you are those that are spoken
Don’t breath to deeply you might choke
Take their dotage with a pinch of salt because they know you’re in denial
Burn the books and sacrifice love to the fire
Let the flames roar and heart sing in melancholic tones
The smile melts as the intense heart grows
Slap the surgeon and call him a liar
Listen to his apologetic groans
And watch as the human race reaches all time lows
Memories burn and cry their sorrows in anguished screams
The light shines until the bulb is broken and darkness has it way
Punch away the thoughts from your tiny little head
Feel the plastic skin tear at the seams
Feel and see the world from your own eyes and speak your own words
These are the nightmares you have when you’re on the hospital bed
So lets say simple and plain
You’ve always seen your face as a stain
