If you are already an active writer, there is no reason at all that you cannot earn more money by duplicating your work on RedGage. RedGage is a social networking site that allows you to link to your blog, your articles, photographs and even videos.
How does RedGage work?
Setting up an account at RedGage is fairly simple. Once you have your account set up, use it much like other social networking sites. Fill in your profile, search for people you know and "friend" them. Now you are ready to start looking around. The first thing you should do is carefully review the terms of service.
RedGage offers you the opportunity to use feeds directly from your Facebook page, your blogs, and your website. Other information will have to be input manually. Your content can be split into "collections" after they are uploaded.
You earn money at RedGage when people read the content you have uploaded, when your content is rated, or when it is marked as a favorite. RedGage has specific payout levels which can be found in the help files.
How does RedGage pay?
From your profile, you will be able to see the pennies you earn in RedGage. As they add up, you will have to reach the payout level in order to withdraw them. Unlike others sites, they do not pay via PayPal. Instead, they issue a RedGage Visa card. This card would contain your certified RedGage earnings.
Once you have reached the payout threshold, RedGage will validate your earnings. If you have been clicking through your own links, (determined by IP address) it will invalidate those earnings.
What is considered acceptable content?
If you are regular writer on Helium, chances are you have built up a fair portfolio of articles. You can link your Helium articles using the "link" function available at RedGage. Breaking your articles into collections, and properly tagging will help your earnings. The easiest way to earn more money on RedGage is each time you add a new article on Helium, immediately add the link to RedGage.
If you are a regular blogger, you have the option to "feed" your blog through RSS or, to post individual posts as you complete them. If you are using an RSS feed, you will find your blog posts in your "default" collection. It is very simple to move them to the proper collection.
Friends and commenting
One thing to keep in mind, is that RedGage is a social media site. This means you must be actively involved in the community. Take the time to review other people's work, comment, and add to favorites. This will help your list of friends grow and help you earn more money on RedGage.
Take the time to invite people to be a friend, to subscribe to other people's lists, and to review some of the work that is on RedGage. This does not have to be time intensive, you can spend 15 to 30 minutes a day to help earn more money on RedGage.
Summary
You can earn more money on RedGage by promoting a variety of media types. While this article focuses primarily on articles and blogs, there are many other options available. Spend some time reviewing the options that are available to you on RedGage. The more diverse your content, the more likely you are to earn more on RedGage.
