Stumbling through the darkness
Looking for a savior;
Finding nothing more
Than drops of blood on the floor.
Corpses with faces all to familiar
Yet unknown.
Carrying one weapon of no use
Against our fear.
Feeling our way to salvation,
Yet always standing right here.
To paralyzed to move,
To alone to think.
Always falling through the darkness,
Finding nothing more
Than these scarlet drops
On this hard floor.
