Poetry: My reality

by Joe Hill

Created on: March 03, 2010   Last Updated: March 05, 2010

My reality,

Is just a small technicality.

The things I am forced to do.

Just makes me hate all of you.

Over and over and over again.

It’s the same old crap.

It’s the same old grin.

Here he comes again.

Lord please help me not sin.

This is one place,

I have already been.

And I don’t have the strength,

To do this again.

So please, please rescue me.

From these people who are pursuing me.

I am ready to die.

Or I am ready to kill.

I can no longer handle this thrill.

Will my end be me taking pills.

Or me running someone through the mill.

One way or the other blood will spill.

I hate this life,

It is way too harsh.

I am sick and tired,

Of being stuck in this marsh.

This is just a small technicality.

But my unreal reality!
