Whether you are a resident or Memphis or a visitor to this beautiful city, if you have small children there are many options available in dining out where you don’t have to get dressed up or worry about the little ones making a mess. Family restaurants abound in Memphis where the staff treat the children as one of their own and serve foods that both the kids and the parents enjoy.

Pizza is one of the all-time family favourites. In Memphis there are several family restaurants where you can get the pizza of your choice for a low cost. At Coletta’s, for example, all of the locations in the city serve Italian fare and offer a menu just for children from which they can choose their own individual toppings. However, if you truly want a selection of cuisine favourites to suit every member of the family one of the best family restaurants in Memphis has to be the Sonic Drive In. Here you can order French fries with every meal. Burgers and hot dogs, which are children’s favourites, are the foods most often ordered. Plus, you don’t have to worry about the children making noise at the table because you can eat your meal in the car or find a picnic table in a park where they have loads of room to run about.

Jim Neely’s Interstate Barbeque is a favourite with Memphis families, not only because of the great tasting food but for the fact that the menu contains such a variety of inexpensive offerings. This is especially good for a family with several children who enjoy dining out on occasion and like the fact that they can choose from their own menu. The amounts of food on the plates for the children are also kid-sized so parents don’t have to worry that they are paying for food and it won’t be eaten.

If you want to take the family out for breakfast in Memphis, then the choice has to be Bryant’s Bar-B-Q and Breakfast. You can get just about every type of breakfast food you have ever heard of at this location and probably some that you don’t recognize and want to try. This location is one that only takes cash and the prices are so low that you can gather up your change to pay for the meal.

There is no need to try to cook every meal at home when you have children because there are great choices in family restaurants in Memphis.
