I have what I call "LION HAIR" I wake up in the morning and find big curls and tuffs everywhere! Seriously, I would scare off a rabid dog! Here is what I do in the morning to straighten and tame the LION! RAWR! First, if I have time, I wash and CONDITION my hair. I use Garnier Sleek and Smooth shampoo and conditioner. Right after I jump out of the shower I put about a quarter size (I have long hair) of leave in conditioner in my hair. I usually use a gel that you can pick up at any salon (usually they have some on sale). I then brush my hair out and throw it up in a towel. I leave my hair in the towel with the leave-in conditioner until it is almost dry. Usually this is about 15-20 minutes. However, this is when I go put my clothes on and eat breakfast so I don't really time it! Then I dry my hair with a regular blow dryer and a metal or ceramic, round brush that I bought at Walgreens. (Again CHEAP!) I then divide my hair in layers and straighten each one. Now! Here is the secret. I MIST A SMALL AMOUNT of hairspray on each strand then straighten. It leaves your hair really soft and helps keep the hair straight. After my hair is straightened I mist a shine spray on so I get a shiny look and my hair stays soft all day!
