"A Pagan's Thoughts on the Highest Power"
You ask me to define
The Supreme Creator of All Existence.
Me?
I am but a mortal human;
To use mortal words to define
Or even attempt to describe
An Infinite Being
Would be inadequate.
Neither male nor female,
Or both, if you please,
The Ultimate is not 'he' or 'she.'
The Highest Power
Is utterly beyond our comprehension
For we are small and finite.
All Divinities come from this
Source of All Being.
Would you have me define
The Timeless Gods
And Their Pantheons instead?
They all come from the same place,
To praise one Pantheon is to praise All Gods.
These are a Pagan's thoughts on
The Highest Power,
The Supreme Creator.

I cannot clothe you,
Or lock you in a prison of letters,
