You come to me in shades of
Vibrant red, sea-green blue.
I cannot clothe you,
Or lock you in a prison of letters,
Trap your essence in a name,
Confine you to the frame
Of my understanding.
You drift on melodies of cloud,
And from the sky
You shower me with your existence
Tracing the edges of my mind
With meaning.
Fierce and free, you roam
Defining me, and yet
Defying definition.
You surround me.
And so I,
(Having nothing but myself,)
Give the parts of me that sees
You in my empty spaces.
I love you with my soul.
