Are you tired of not being able to watch your favorite team because you don't live in their city (or you live in the south)? Do you need to see the big conference showdown but can't find it? Well fortunately for you there is a solution to the NHL's lack of television exposure. The internet provides many solutions to find the game that you want to watch. Here are some of the best websites to watch the biggest NHL games:
atdhe.net- this site offers streamed feeds from the home team's broadcast. Simply go to the website, click on live sports, and scroll down to the game that you want to watch. You may have to download some software, and the feed can be a little slow, but if you can't find it anywhere else you can bet that you will find it here.
justin.tv- this site allows users to stream anything from their TV to the internet, including hockey games. When you get to the site put your mouse over the Live Channel button and scroll down to and click sports. Once you are there move your mouse over the 'All' button and scroll down and click hockey. Once the page loads simply find the game you want and click on it. This site also allows users to talk to each other about the games they are watching.
Yahoo.com- while they may not always have the game you want to watch, yahoo often has games streamed online. The benefit of using yahoo is that it has the best video quality and stability. Check in from time to time and check out what games they have. Usually yahoo will choose the biggest game that isn't broadcast on TV. Go to yahoo.com, click on sports, then click on NHL. Once the NHL page opens click on the Live Games link.
ESPN.com- like yahoo, ESPN also has a game that it broadcasts every Thursday called 'Thursday Night Hockey'. Also like yahoo it features only the biggest games or the biggest stars that aren't broadcast. Go to espn.com, click on NHL, then click on the link at the top of the screen that says Thursday Night. The best part of this feed is that it has a pregame and postgame show to break down the game you just watched (yes, ESPN does have hockey analysts, you just never see them on TV).
There you have it. The best sites to watch free hockey online. But if you have the money, NHL Gamecenter Live is the best online source for your hockey fix.
