and you threw the trinket back at me

a picture of beauty for the world to see;
a fairy tale princess, a Miss Mississippi,
a first-lady porn diva in a thong in a mini

Your emotions for me, cold to lukewarm
I feel a chill, coming our way fast as a storm

Twisted like a bridge on a Gulf Coast highway
