High Blood Pressure Remedy

According to the (1 )U.S.Heart Lung and Blood Institute,High blood pressure is a blood pressure reading of 140/90 mmHg or higher. Both numbers are important.

Sharing from my own personal experience (as I am not a medical professional,) may help others like me.

Four months ago I was diagnosed by my physician as having high blood pressure caused by namely high cholesterol. Other factors contribute to high blood pressure or otherwise known as hypertension including but not limited to; family history, diet, exercises and stress.

I know that at my age 46 lack of exercise, eating any and everything I wanted but because of my genetic make up some how remaining well within my correct height/weight ratio contributed to my hypertension not the least of which dare I forget the stress of owning my own business for 15 years, raising 2 teenagers and going through family and financial crisis while maintaining a leadership role in my local church as well as non profit boards that I volunteered on. Not always showing signs of this condition such as being over weight allows high blood pressure to take its toll on you with out setting off any alarms that one would readily notice, hence its reputation for being the silent killer.

I was told previously some six years ago by my previous physician that my cholestrol was not at a dangerous level yet but needed to be monitored. Not long after that exam I lost medical coverage and didn't have a complete physical for five years this is when I found out and was diagnosed with high blood and finally prescribed Atenol/Chlor 50/25 which addresses both the high cholestrol as well as lowering the blood pressure.

I felt terrible on this medication. I imagine like how a junkie must feel on some weird spaced out downer drug. Of course I hoped and prayed for healing somehow so I would not have to continue taking this medicine which like most all pharmaceutical prescription drugs cause side effects which eventually have to be treated by another drug and on goes the spiraling until you are out of control.

Thankfully I found through my own research on the web that good old vitamin E is effective in reducing cholesterol. I started using it a month after the diagnosis and have been able to maintain blood pressure readings of 118 - 122 over 80.
In addition to vitamin E I also take a natural fruit (mangosteen)liquid supplement Xango that helps me eat right and gives extra energy so that I can have the desire and stamina to exercise regularly without feeling wiped out at the days end.

(2) Equally important is realizing that I can not fix everything that is wrong in my life but trusting God to help me change myself to be able to be at peace inspite of troubling circumstances.
