Quick weight loss is an obsession here in America. From diet pills to fad diets and work-out videos to random As-Seen-On-TV exercise machines, people want to look and feel their best. For those who have tried and failed most weight-loss tricks and trials, many people still find themselves frustrated with the last 10-20lbs. What many are still pondering is, what really works.
If you watch day-time talk shows or even entertainment news, you will hear many nutritionists and trainers come on to say the same thing, many of you have been dreading. The secret to quick weight loss is proper diet and exercise. Diet and exercise is a permanent way to lose weight while fad diets and diet pills will drop the weight drastically, but you are then vulnerable to gain the weight back fast and more than before.
The trick to dieting is not to limit or go on a hunger strike, but more of a technical change. For many dieters and people looking to lose those few extra pounds, a common thought is to drop the carbs, drop the sweets and just about anything else that makes food enjoyable. The real secret to dieting success is portions and ingredients. In America, the portions are out of control and the ingredients are made in science labs.
The first step towards a proper diet will be to have breakfast. Many Americans are constantly on the go. While they may be patting themselves on the back for constantly doing something, their body is going into shock from a lack of nutrients and proper energy. Breakfast is a kick start to your body's metabolism. In the morning you should have some type of fiber and protein to start your day off. When you do this your metabolism revs up as the day goes on. This is the first step to naturally boost your quick weight loss efforts.
For some people their metabolism peaks during the early afternoon, so it's also important to constantly feed your engine. Every two-three hours is good to eat or have a light snack. What's good to remember is that you don't want to allow yourself to become hungry. When you allow yourself to become too hungry, you tend to over eat and eat what's first available, which is usually the worst foods. When you wait until you're hungry and have a meal of all fats and carbs, your body will suck up all the fat and sugars, your body sugar(energy) will then peak and drop and then you become tired and fatter.
