To begin this debate objectively nature is all around us, we can enjoy nature every day of the week. A hike or a relaxing walk in the woods, but when planning a vacation with children most families are looking for FUN. Not to say that you can't have fun in nature because you can have a lot of fun adventures. But a good amusement park or resort can offer unlimited activities for the entire stay and there should never be a dull or boring moment. There are theme parks, ride parks, water parks and even cruises to entertain a family on vacation.
When one starts planning a family vacation they are usually thinking fun and adventure. You could combine nature and amusement at a theme park and get the best of both worlds. While having a wonderful time at an amusement park in say Florida you could enjoy natures beaches and sunshine as well as sea life and other numerous outdoor activities. You could take a day and go island hopping, where you could see some of natures exotic animals in there natural habitats.
There is no thrill like riding a roller coaster or floating down the lazy river and relaxing in a water park. When it comes to keeping kids occupied for a week we need to think fun and adventure. Children can only be amused with nature sites for a minimal period of time, they need stimulation. Weekends should be for the nature sites, vacations should be full of fun activities for the little ones to enjoy as well as the adults and if you have teenagers well, an amusement resort will have far more adrenalin rushing non boring activities for the adventurous all so often bored out there mind teenagers to enjoy.
Most amusement resorts have activities and daycare for the very small children so the parents can go off and enjoy some of there favorite activities or just spend some time alone together that you may not get when you are home working and taking care of life on a day to day basis. That is what a vacation is suppose to be. Fun, relaxing, adventurous, and not thinking about all the day to day stressful situations we encounter. So get out your planner and get on the Internet and start browsing for that perfect vacation spot and know that you will have a wonderful time with your family and have all the wonderful memories on an adventure of a lifetime.
