This title screams for risque humor, but let’s keep it spiritual, rather than carnal. For a young woman, to know if a guy likes you, it’s simply a matter of knowing how great hunters stalk their prey. You must be one of those savvy hunters and learn to read the signs. Then, when you can get a clear shot at that certain guy, aim for the heart.

Here are some of those signs:

1. When he’s with his male pals, he’s all macho, often bragging about his conquests of other girls. However, whenever he’s with you, he has trouble getting a simple sentence out. The more shy he is with you, you can be sure the more he likes you.

2. He asks around about you, at first wondering if you’re seriously seeing another guy. Even if you’re going steady, if he really likes you, he won’t let the other guy stand in his way of trying to date you. You may have the pleasure of knowing you’re so attractive that two guys are ready to fight over you.

3. He finds opportunities to talk with you. He may make it look casual and accidental, but if he really likes you, he’s planning those get-togethers like a hunter stalking his prey. However, you can be even more expert at the game than he is, and choose the time and place for those so-called accidental meetings.

4. When you meet in those casual ways, he discusses subjects he knows are familiar to you. If you have favorite TV shows, singers, actors or sports stars, he’ll talk about them, expressing that they’re his favorites, too. It’s no coincidence, because he’s been asking around about your likes and dislikes.
 
5. He finally gets up the nerve to ask you to join a group of guys and gals planning to go to a sports event or concert. Not quite a real date, but throughout the event, he hangs close to you and tries to keep you interested with jokes and his keen knowledge about what’s happening. If he’s lucky (or you are), he’ll hold your hand as you stroll along together.

6. By now, your keen instincts tell you the hunt is almost over, and your aim for his heart has been right on target. He asks you to join him for dinner at a posh restaurant, followed by a special movie or concert. Or, if he really, really likes you, you’ve hit the target’s bull’s eye when he asks you to join him and his parents at their home. Or, if he has his own apartment, and/or you do, too, you don’t need any more advice. You’re on your own.

How to know if a guy likes you doesn’t require a PhD in psychology, but just everyday common sense. You only need the ability to read the signs and take each step along with him, until his like turns into something much closer to love.
