Every era raises a new crop of guys and girls, and with each era, traditions change. Guys today were not raised with the same morals and manners guys in the 40’s, 50’s or 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s or even the beginning of this 21st century were. Times change, trends change, music changes, literature changes, fashion changes, and all of these changes have a stunning effect on the particular way guys treat girls and peculiar ways that girls treat guys.

The wheel of change keeps turning, and as it does, so do values, morals, courtesy, gentleness, and how we deal with our emotions, especially concerning love.

However, the heart and soul of attraction are very physical, emotional, and mental elements that deliver the same punch over all centuries - that knockout feeling of being in love.

So, no matter how much things change – fashion, food, jobs, morals – how to tell if a guy likes you is a time worn method of madness we will always only be able to feel from the gut and from the heart.

There’s no denying that warm feeling that overcomes the body when you sense someone you desire is near. If he is, and he likes you too, he’ll make it known somehow. He can’t take his eyes off of you. He seems to be wherever you are.

He wants to impress you with his charms, whether those charms are expensive toys or a winning smile and personality. All other girls seem to disappear and he makes that very obvious to you.

Some of the age old gentlemanly mannerisms still apply today: holding a door open for you, picking up something you drop, walking you to your car, phoning to see you got home safely, phoning simply to say goodnight, phoning especially to hear your voice, treating you on a date, putting his hand on the small of your back as you walk down the street.

Perhaps the most telling move a guy can make to prove you are his and just how much he likes you, is to hold your hand and stare into your eyes when you speak. Kisses are fabulous, but when the guy you admire takes your hand in his and keeps it there, this is one of the biggest indications that your guy really, really, really likes you.

Holding hands shows everybody in view that he means business and this is one powerful display of how to know if a guy really likes you.
