How to know if a guy likes you

Funny story, guys don't know how to express what they are feeling, so it dates back to "If a boys mean to you, that means he likes you."  I look at that and laugh because in some cases that is true.  A guy will automatically choose you to be either really nice to or really mean to.

I work at a retail store, I am only eighteen so I have worked there for a while.  I won't mention his name but he is a cart pusher and is always making silly faces at me, and when he cashiers he always wads my receipt up when I go through his line.  I am always like "my god what did I ever do to you.  And what I didn't realize is it's all a part of his teenage elaborate plan.  Come on I had to put some humor in here.

Anyway, I was working until ten, and my mom was going to be late picking me up, I walk out in this ridiculous cold weather and sit on the bench because the store is closing up and I don't want to be in the way.  Just my luck, he walks out swinging his car keys, almost like he knew I would be out here waiting.  I smile and look down and he nudges my shoulder and says "come on kid."  I laugh because he really is only a few months older than me.  So I walk with him out to his car and get in.  It crosses my mind why he is being so nice to me.  Then I realize that everyone has a heart.

So we sit there and talk about music, and concerts and friends.  We surprisingly click really well.  I like him because he isn't cookie cutter boring and he likes to laugh at me.  He catches my eye and moves in to kiss me.  Are you kidding me?!  The same kid that always teases me and makes me look stupid is kissing me right now.  Really?  I laugh and pull back saying "Where did this come from."  He laughs and tells me that it's all in the game.

I have become close to this immature boy and he has become close to me, so I guess if a guy is older and they can buy roses and take you out to dinner and buy you the better things in life, that is a good way to tell.  But when you're a teenager, it's all about the game and trust me, there's always a game.
