Bloating is one of the worst feelings in the world. It makes us feel fat and our clothes don't fit quite the same when we are going through it. Bloating is the swelling of your body due to excess water retention. In order to deal with bloating, you have to learn how to get rid of the extra water that you are carrying around. It doesn't take long to get back to normal if you put a few things into practice to deal with bloating.
Here is how to deal with bloating:
Salt Reduction
Reduce your salt intake in order to reduce bloating. Salt is one of the biggest offenders when it comes to bloating. If you want to get rid of bloating problems for good, slow down the salt shaker when you are using it. It is alright to use some salt, but be careful about the amount you are putting in your foods.
Exercise
Get into a regular exercise routine if you want to deal with bloating in the best way possible. A regular workout routine will help keep bloating from ever occurring in the first place. If you don't already work out and you are suffering from bloating, start a routine immediately to get the bloating away. Don't stop once the bloating is gone though. Keep up the routine and you will see that you don't have nearly as many bloat flare ups as you once did.
Period Bloating
Period Bloating is a little different from plain old bloating. You may have to take extra steps if that is what is causing the bloating. There are medications on the market made for just this purpose. They do work and you will feel much better throughout your period. Midol is recommended because it is a proven product from a trusted company that has been around for many years.
Diet
Be careful about what you are putting into your body. When you drink soda, for instance, you add water retention because there is salt and caffeine. These two things combined can add a lot of water retention that is unnecessary. Remove foods from your diet that contain these two ingredients and you will get some relief from bloating.
Bloating can make you feel depressed. It is important to learn how to control it and make those changes that need to be made. The key to dealing with bloating is to practice good habits at all times. This will completely reduce or get rid of bloating problems in the future.
