A promise to all my children...
I can't promise you the moon, I can't promise you the sky.
I can't promise you that we will always see eye to eye.
I can't promise you that things will someday get better,
I can't promise you that your first love will last forever.
I can't promise you that your going to make it big in this life,
or that my daughter will take a husband, or my sons will take a wife.
I can't promise you gold, or silver to spare.
I can't promise you riches or diamonds to bear.
I can't promise that youll live worry free in ease,
I can't promise (though I would like to) You wont be face with disease.
I can't promise you so much my babies, I wish I could promise you it all,
I can't promise to be there, every time to catch you when you fall.
But I can promise to pick up the peices when you do,
And I can promise your momma will always love you.
I promise to be there by your side until you want me to go,
so you can face this world, the way you came into it, alone.
I can promise to help you and be by your side no matter what you choose,
I can promise to be your number one fan, even if you lose.
I can promise you one day you will all see im right at least once,
by then though it will be to late, for whatever you did, will already be done.
But I promise to still be by your side, or backing you if you want me along,
And if you shall ever need it, you'll have a home back here, where you'll always belong.
I can promise you to never take you for granted, and protect you while I can,
for one day you ll be a strong girl, and I'll also have me 3 handsome grown up men.
One day you wont need me tagging along, and you wont want kisses goodbye at school,
I'll leave that building in tears, but feeling not the slightest like a fool.
For if I can grow you into strong people, that the world will see and respect,
my job on earth will be done with, Although I'm not close to that enough yet.
You are all so tiny and sacred still, not a one over age six,
Seeing your little faces light up,one day that will be so missed.
I promise to always hold you dear to me, and love you more than any on earth.
For I believe nobody but the mother can fully see the child's full worth.
I promise you my babies, when the time arrives, I will always be the one..
Clapping for you and shouting "Thats my daughter" and "Thats My Son"..
I love you babies. I hope someday all I want for you, can stop being just a dream and become reality.
I don't know what God was thinking giving such a un-perfect person, such perfectly molded angels....

Promises
I took a chance and I believed
That dreams could still come true,
It wasn't very long before
I fell in love with you.
You
My Promise To You
I close my eyes seeing visions of us enthralled in a never ending romance
The way that I have fallen in
Promise’s To You
A promise is a special thing
Not meant to be thrown about
So these words I freely give to you
To
A promise to all my children...
I can't promise you the moon, I can't promise you the sky.
I can't promise you that
REMEMBER YOUR PROMISES
I really pray, that I could see
after many years have passed,
that all be what they dreamt to be
in promises
