Best Nintendo console ever created

Now, if you walked up to any Jane or Joe Smith of normal land, and asked them what the best Nintendo console is, they would most likely tell you it’s the Nintendo Wii. Ah yes, with the motion controls, the motion controls, and the motion controls, it’s obviously superior! Because really, that’s literally the only thing the Wii has going for it, and that’s debatable. The Wii’s graphics aren’t much better than its predecessors were, with the Gamecube being pretty much exactly the same.

In fact, the games got worse because of its motion controlled system, as they tried to incorporate it more and more into games that didn’t need it. Actually, that’s a pretty important part of determining the best console. Which one had the best games, and still looked cool enough to keep your attention? Not the super Nintendo or NES, with the half decent graphics and four buttons. Nor the higher end systems; the Gamecube and Wii games really downgraded when it came to quality, and they just started making as many as they could.

No, if you want a perfect balance between playability and graphics, look no farther than the N64, the best Nintendo console! While some of the games’ graphics are a bit lacking, there’s just no substitute for the original. And yes, I realize that the NES was the original, but many game titles first became popular from the N64, due to the better graphics, gameplay and stories. No longer was it just ‘Go save the princess.’ Now they could actually included backstory, and even show you what happened! It was a revolutionary concept, one that would become a staple for gaming across all the consoles, and generations.

Another good thing about the N64 is that the games held more of a challenge. As the console’s progressed, the games became more and more family friendly, until anything could be beaten. Take super smash brothers, for instance. Practically anyone could play the newer version on the Wii, because they made it easier. But back on the N64, you actually needed to know how to play the game in order to do well. That alone would make the N64 win in my book.

Basically, the N64 has all the features the newer consoles has, while additionally having the nostalgia and challenge that comes from playing its games. Thus, the N64 is the best Nintendo console.
