One of the first things you do when you are planning your wedding is to choose a theme. This might be as unusual as a beach or tropical themed wedding, or it might be as simple as having a particular color scheme to link all the parts of your wedding.
Having a suitable color theme is central to having a wedding that looks and feels wonderful. Each part of the wedding, from flowers, to bridesmaids, to the smallest of wedding favors each reflects this scheme and make the wedding one cohesive event instead of many small parts.
Once you have chosen your wedding color, you can start to plan the other parts of your wedding, but sometimes this choice can seem daunting. Here are some of the things to think about when you are choosing your wedding color:
Your Personality
The color you choose as the main color for your wedding should suit your personality.
If you are a cool, classy lady, then choosing a restrained scheme of gold and white or cream with a touch of burgundy would be fabulous.
If you have a bubbly personality, you might want to choose a bolder color scheme, such as orange and cream or black/white/red.
If you are an older lady, or if this is your second marriage, you might want to choose from a pastel palette, and perhaps choose something like off white with duck-egg blue.
The Bridesmaids
Your wedding colors need to suit you and your personality first and foremost, but you also want to be able to look back on beautiful photographs. Because of this, you will need to choose colors which suit all members of the bridal party.

Availability of the Color
This might sound an odd thing to think about, but when you are choosing a color, consider that it will have to appear on the invitations, in the flowers, on the bridesmaids dresses and on the cake.
While you can print the invitations in any color you like, the other items could cause a possible problem. Fabric and fondant can be bought in many different colors, but finding the exact color you want could cost more than if you chose from a basic color range. This is something to think about if you want a more unusual color.
Flowers, too, only come in a certain range of colors, and are more expensive at different times of the year. For a winter wedding,
