The problem that keeps coming up every time the federal government attempts to fix the economy is the fact that the government is us, a bunch of Americans who believe that money could and should grow on trees, just because money is made in the USA. After all, they say our streets are paved in gold, so we all want our American Dream immediately, paid for by the majority, so apparently it’s us who’s nuts, not the government. It’s we, "the people," who create what sucks, but the government is just a bunch of Americans we blame for all our big mistakes, as if "The Government," was a building of some kind or a monster in our minds, created by us to bite our own behinds. It’s either that, or we blame it on the rain or  anything but us.

When it gets cold, we make global warming jokes just so we convince each other that it’s not our fault, but that’s just so we don’t have to do what it takes to make the world a better place, much less conserve energy for the USA. In fact, that’s what makes us look insane to the rest of the world who tends to watch us as we watch FOX news who tends to produce our view which tends to be a united sense of doom and gloom. It’s those of us who create the most toxic stuff who are the least aware that the globe is obviously warming because of us and all our hot air everywhere. After that, we tell the rest of the world, "Just trust us."

We act as if men like Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh have something significant to say at all, and then, we wonder why other countries hate the USA. We listen to someone like Sarah Palin and wonder why the rest of the world won’t take us seriously, economically or not. We listen to people who get paid to make us afraid, and at the same time we say we live in, "The land of the free and the home of the brave." After that, we can’t figure out why everyone else on earth thinks we are a bunch of idiots who live in the land of hypocrisy. We just don’t get it and the government can’t fix what we don’t get, so why do we wonder why we elect a bunch of chicken politicians?

Since we tend to also listen to men who get paid to make us hate the president we elected in the first place, I’d say it’s us who is nuts and it’s us that makes the economy suck so much, not to mention the fact that it’s us who makes other countries hate our guts. Still, we continue to blame a place called Washington DC. It makes no sense
