the life of Jesus
did they write them when they were Dead no they wrote them in there life time about thier eyewitness experiance of Christ. Matthew was written in 58 to 68 AD When Matthew was alive of course. Lets for argument sake say that Jesus was Crucified in 30 to 30 AD. Mathew still walked and talked with Christ and wrote about Him to the Jewish sect of His time. Mark Was Written in 67 AD or 68 AD. Mark also testifies to the actual facts of His seeing Christ during His life time as well.
Luke was written By Luke in Lukes life time about his witness of Christs life as well in 58-60 AD. We know these date because of Histrical events times even Roman writings. Lukes primary Audiance are the Greeks of His time you see He was a prosalytized JEW 58-59 AD. And John all the same implied, written approx 90 AD.
Lets say that Matthew Mark and Luke were Dead which they weren't. John would have still been alive, and is still thought of as having lived to a ripe old age. Never the less Matthew Mark, Luke and John were all written while they had breath and while there were most of Christs ressurection witnesse were still alive. One would only have to be of the age of lets say ten yrs old in order to know if this was truth or not. That would put them in their late 40s or early 50s and so on.
If Christ was resurrected in 30 AD the the oldest account Luke would of only been written 28 yrs after, not much time to create a Myth or a fabled story, for in the best case senerio you have to wait atleast a couple of generations away about 110 to 160 AD when all are dead, not just a few. For if people are alive and have know these things they wouldn't allow such heresy to be spread for they would know better.
Luke lived long enough to write the Book of Acts as He followed Paul around during His missionary trips. Given these facts you cant even conjour up the idea of there being no witnesses, nor is there any time to for a fable to be started. These events were life lived written and witnessed by the authors them selves, in their life time during which Christ lived , died and was resurrected.
Biblical evidence is plenty but we will only list a few here for Histories sake, and for fact of truth. In 1 Corintians 15:3-6 Paul is talking to the people in Corinth inwhich He visited for 18 Months in approxmatly AD 52-53.
1 Cor 15:3-6 (KJV)
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried,
