IF JESUS CAME TO VISIT
When you were just a little girl, we all loved you so
daughter now I'm asking you, where did your goodness go
You turn into a vicious child, when Satan cast his evil spell
why did you turn your back on me, and take the path to hell
Satan sat on God's right hand, no love was in his heart
to tell you all that he did wrong, I don't know where to start
One day he must have found you, when you were feeling low
what was it that he promised you, I really want to know.
Wonder how you're feeling, has it been worth while
I have lost my family, this doesn't make me smile
I say to God forgive you, put you back on the right track
before you get much older, and love you find you lack
If Jesus came to visit you, and knocked upon your door
what would you have to say to him, or aren't you really sure
Would you welcome him inside, on this bright and sunny day
or would you feel so ashamed, of the lies you had to say
could you look him in the face, and shake him by the hand
or would you turn away from him, cause you don't understand
Why has he come to visit you, when you've caused others pain
what really is his purpose, what do you stand to gain
Jesus and his father, loves each and every one
it doesn't matter what you've said, or what you've really done
Beg him to forgive you, for your lying wicked ways
let him come into your heart, get on your knees and pray
God looks down from heaven, with tear drops in his eyes
he looks at you with sadness, for your evil wicked lies
He knows the pain you have caused, the mother you hurt so bad
just ask for his forgiveness, and it will make him oh so glad
Let goodness be your way of life, from now until you die
keep his 10 commandments, it's so wrong for you to lie
Jesus died upon the cross, to take away our sins
so open up your heart today, and ask him to come in
Then when Jesus comes to visit you, and knocks upon your door
you will know without a doubt, you will know the score
You would understand, the reason he was there
It's love he wants to give you, a love for you to share
