Poetry: Touch

by Christian Chmelyk

Created on: February 24, 2010

I looked at them for a very long time
They looked back shyly
Unsure of what happened
Nervous but…
Content

They looked as if our fusion was wrong,
Not quite right, but it fit within them
Showed them a light,
Put it upon their reach,
To guide them

Walking around the room many times
Sitting with legs awkwardly drawn.
He always came back,
Right in front of me
To sit cross-legged and dream.
