Poetry: Clouds

I’ve found the clouds are best,

When they are laid to rest,

Beneath my head after,

We crease the sheets of our bed,

And take a chance on something never said.

The clouds scream so loud,

I’ve found it difficult to be proud,

When things start to look up,

But spiral down.

While sitting on my puff,

That fluttered around.

I took a hit,

And wondered, high…

Thought why we weave our webs so wrong…

You’re stronger than this, ponder that.

Travel my ladder,

To our profound chapter,

Floor 505,

On Cloud Number Nine…
