What's wrong with Black America

What's wrong with Black America? No one can answer that question, because there is no Black America! It's Black American, I live in America and I'm a Black American. For those who think that there is a Black America, this is the beginning of what's wrong with Black America.

Many people have started out by addressing this discussion, by stating how far Black Americans have come. Pause right there, when Black Americans reached the point that we have today, Black America should have no longer existed.

My point is, discussions like this topic and the belief that there is a Black America, is only allowing for us to continue to make excuses, which is the number one problem in so called Black America.

I want to start off by addressing African Americans. I'm black and I'm proud, but I only see one race and that's the human race. This is the focal point of my life, because God created us all equal. A lot of great people played a role in where we are today, but not to get spiritual, God controlled it.

If God didn't want us to be where we are at today, he would have not allowed it to happen. We are here now, so why do we continue to make excuses? I'm so sick and tired of hearing a black person, say because he/she's white or the white man.

Sure racism and prejudice still exist, but it's not the reason why so many white people are successful. Plenty of black people are successful. Anyone can be successful, but you have to want to be successful. Instead of making excuses, start making goals.

My President Is Black, a popular rap song and a true statement. America change has come and another problem with so called Black America, is the fact that many people can't accept change. Whether you're white, black, blue or purple, many of us are stuck in our own ways, beliefs, how we were taught and how we were raised.

Grandparents, parents, etc., is it really fair to teach/raise your children how you were taught and raised? Yes it is fair to a certain extent, but what if you were taught wrong to a certain extent.

It's not right to teach and raise your children to not be friends with someone, a relationship, etc., because of their skin color. Nothings wrong with that and if you honestly believe that, then your wrong.

Hello America, goodbye Black America. You see the way I see it, is the way I wish we all could see it. I don't see a Black America, I see America. I don't make excuses, because of my race. I don't feel sorry for the black person stuck in the ghetto, because they aren't stuck.

I feel sorry for any American that believes there is a Black America and that something is wrong with it. The only thing wrong with it, is the topic itself. It allows for excuses to be made, when really changes need to be made. This is America people, not a Black and White America.

Let's start being a country as a whole, not two seperate races of a country. Let's come together, because if we don't, there will always be a so called Black America with excuses to be made in it. There will always be racism, etc.

You see a thousand readers could read this article and maybe only one would understand, but that one reader understands that the only thing wrong with Black America, is that it doesn't exist.
