After I leave you I'll finally be free
I can breathe a lot easier I can smile and be me
After I leave you I can hang with my friends
I can catch up with their lives and start mine over again
After I leave you I can wear a low cut shirt
With some sexy lingerie and a short mini skirt
After I leave you I can eat as much as I please
No more being afraid that If I gain too much weight you would leave
After I leave you I can take a road trip with my cat
Do it the old fashion way, just me, the radio and a map
After I leave you I can learn to live
And for once in my life take as much as I give
After I leave you I'll finally be free
To learn to live without you and learn to love me.

I will still long for you.
My dreams will be saturated with thoughts of you.
I will still reach

Spirits rise out of shadows,
ghostly echoes of laughter are heard
amidst the tears of left over
