The Experiment
A puzzle, a maze with walls in motion
A swirling haze, clouding the facts
The answer begins and fades again
And again I bumble and stumble again.
So I start
On a different track
Assemble and organize
Shuffle and stack
All my knowledge
Staw by straw
On all my insight and wits I draw
Until the creak of eureka pends
It groans, it shudders, it shrieks, it bends!
Under the wait of truth and trial
The final gasp of its denial
Is brought forth fresh
with wet and shine
A new thing here
That I’ve divined
The method? Science.
Benefactor? Mankind.
The obstacle? Ignorance.
The breaking point? Mind!
