The End
I wake up and at the foot of my bed there was a man. Though he seems familiar, I can not quite place who he is. I think I know him. "Come with me," he said. I can not really see his face because the light is in my eyes. I get up without hesitation and go with him.
I feel some sense of regret in my heart. I don't know where I am going; my feet won't stop walking. I am leaving my husband lying in the bed. I am also leaving my children in their rooms. Why can i not stop? Why do i not want to stop? This is not like me, my husband and my children have always been everything to me, yet i am still walking with this stranger as if i know him. I turn around and look at my husband still sleeping. What if he opens his eyes? i wonder if that will stop me form walking away.
Maybe I am dreaming this, maybe it is a nightmare. " wake me up" I scream! I just keep walking on out the door. The man is beside me now. "Do not be afraid, it is time to go"! I stop and look at the bedroom where my children are sleeping. I want to ask if I can take them with me, but before I can say a word the strange man says "it is not time for them only you, now come and trust me , for they will join you later".
I turn around my heart is heavy within my chest. Why am I going? Why can I not stop? Why is it that i feel excited about going? There must be a reason! I look around and I do not recognize anything now. Where am I at? Why am I here? "please why am I here" I beg!
The strange man spoke " ecause this is what you have worked for all your life". The man turns and takes my hands. I feel this overwhelming sense of warmth rush through my body. A love I can not explain. I look at him, I can see his face now.
JESUS ! It is him, He came for me. He is real. I knew it. I only wish I could have told my husband and children that he is real, have faith and he will come for you too when it is is your time. He said " you have told them, in the things you have done through your faith in me, in the love you have shared and the forgiveness you have shown". he continued " they know and now it is up to them"!
This is the end of the world for me but the beginning of a new life: a wonderfully new life.
