Just take a little in the middle so you have enough,
Unless you lose it at the limit then things might get tough.
Each night the tides will always turn so try to stay in tune
For somber moments come along that take your time too soon.

Now to the cynic life relies entirely on time.
These simple-minded miscreants make it the bottom line
But to the proud philosopher well seasoned to the same,
The whole amount is not what counts, just what's left in the game.

Now prophets and philosophers are known to live long lives,
They're living in the moment that is why long life survives.
To focus on forever is a foolish game to play,
Forever is a second if you die along the way.

Let life be based on every breath and count each one you take.
One day of breathing by the count then you'll learn how to make
Each breath become a lifetime that will lift your soul toward joy
And rid your riddled robot mind of all that will destroy.

Now practice simple principles like these and you will live
Enriched with new perceptions that allow you now to give
The love that lingered long and sweet like time now given you,
So you can share the love still there as clue by timeless clue..
