Poetry: Longing for your love

This room brings back memories,
Memories I lost with you.
It's sometimes strange,
It could be fate,
That we've met in these four walls.

So I'm here to take it back,
What I've lost, and what you've found.
The smiles and the tears,
I'll fight all your fears,
And we'll levitate off the ground.

Tell me where you want to go,
'Cause I'll take you there myself.
We'll leave this room for awhile,
And come back with a smile.
I promise, you'll be fine.

Fine as the roses, red,
Laid on your softest bed.
Close your eyes in deep slumber.
Take my hand and we'll dream together.

We can dream the wildest dream,
That no man can ever imagine.
That's how good the life can be,
When you're with someone like me.

'Cause what I'm doing for you, I know,
I know it can take out the glow,
The glow coming from your eyes,
The sweetest ever of your smile.
I won't let it fade away!

Forever and ever, I'll be here,
Especially at times when you need me.
I'm not saying, I stand out from the rest,
But when I'm with you, I'm at my best.
These four walls are our witness.
